One Christmas I chose to spend the day completely alone. Well, I didn’t entirely choose it. It was a combination of opting out, not coping, and being dumped all at once I guess.

I wasn’t worried though because I figured I’d just do all the things you usually do on Christmas day, but without the added pressure that comes with being around other people.
